Family's Guide to Maximizing Your TV Package

Posted by Alley Dornbach on Jan 10, 2019 1:47:17 PM

Every family has their own unique TV tradition. For my family, we would record all of our shows we wanted to watch (like American Idol back in the mid 2000’s) and we would wait until all of our homework was finished and dinner was cleaned up before starting the show. After we were ready for bed, we would spend time on the couch, snuggled up in blankets, catching up on our favorite shows. My dad would always be so excited that we could fast forward through all of the commercials to get to the good parts. That tradition still holds true today. Every Sunday, my family gets together for dinner and afterwards, we pick the best movie to watch On Demand. Watching TV with your family is one of the best feelings, especially when you get into the groove of a comfortable routine.

It’s important to get the most out of your TV Package so your family can enjoy watching TV together, whether it be at home or on-the-go. Check out this list of awesome features that will help you maximize your family TV time.

However, thanks to the convenience of technology it's never been easier to tune in whenever and where ever we want. Most channels now have mobile apps that allow viewers to watch the latest episodes of their favorite shows on-the-go, and many apps also allow for catch up of previous episodes and maybe even entire seasons as well.

After having multiple in 2017, there will be two Friday the 13th's in 2018, with the first being in April. Western culture has largely come to view Friday the 13th as the unluckiest day of the year, a day when generally bad things happen and superstitions are heightened.
