Family's Guide to Maximizing Your TV Package

Posted by Alley Dornbach on Jan 10, 2019 1:47:17 PM

Every family has their own unique TV tradition. For my family, we would record all of our shows we wanted to watch (like American Idol back in the mid 2000’s) and we would wait until all of our homework was finished and dinner was cleaned up before starting the show. After we were ready for bed, we would spend time on the couch, snuggled up in blankets, catching up on our favorite shows. My dad would always be so excited that we could fast forward through all of the commercials to get to the good parts. That tradition still holds true today. Every Sunday, my family gets together for dinner and afterwards, we pick the best movie to watch On Demand. Watching TV with your family is one of the best feelings, especially when you get into the groove of a comfortable routine.

It’s important to get the most out of your TV Package so your family can enjoy watching TV together, whether it be at home or on-the-go. Check out this list of awesome features that will help you maximize your family TV time.

      Holiday TV Guide

Posted by Alley Dornbach on Dec 4, 2018 2:14:17 PM

There are so many wonderful movies and shows to watch this holiday season, from channels like Hallmark, Freeform, Lifetime, AMC, and more.

Taking inspiration from one of my personal favorite Christmas movies and a quote from everyones favorite elf Buddy, “First we’ll make snow angels for two hours, and then we’ll go ice-skating, and then we’ll eat a whole roll of Toll House cookie dough as fast as we can, and then to finish, we’ll snuggle” and watch all of our favorite holiday movies by the fire. Okay, I added the last part, but Christmas is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited.

This season, make sure to bring out your warmest sweater, make a cup of hot chocolate, and enjoy some serious holiday magic with the 2018 Holiday TV lineup for your viewing pleasure:

Black Friday & Cyber Monday Tips

Posted by Alley Dornbach on Nov 21, 2018 1:25:11 PM

Black Friday is coming up quick and Cyber Monday is following right behind it! It is definitely time to start planning your shopping mission. Black Friday has turned from a single day into a whole saving weekend, and Cincinnati Bell wants to guarantee you are saving the most.

Get on top of your game with these Black Friday and Cyber Monday tips.

Research the Deals: Black Friday starts earlier and earlier every year. Make sure you are checking the prices leading up to Black Friday to ensure you are getting the best deal. Keep an eye on the actual sale because online retailers regularly update the prices throughout the event, and sometimes offer deals before Black Friday.

Shop Strategically: Look up all the ads (print and online) a couple days in advance. It’s important to also prioritize your shopping list to determine what you actually need to buy. Start with your high-priority items and make your way down the list. Pro tip: Pick up a newspaper on Thanksgiving morning at any grocery store or coffee shop. The Thanksgiving Day paper will include ALL of the sale ads.
